Meng Men Chakra

WHY IS MENG MEN IMPORTANT?
Do you have trouble sleeping?  Read on.  Want more energy?  Keep reading.  Are you interested in the explosive chi energy of the internal martial arts?  This article is for you.  The idea of a “gate” occurs in all translations and is probably the most suitable.  Whatever your health or martial arts goals are, accessing the Ming-men point is the place to start.

WHERE IS THE MENG MEN LOCATED?

For locating you need to feel your lower back right in the center or most shallow point of the curve.  It is located in line with the secondary navel chakra approximately 1.5 inches (3.75cm) below the navel.

The meng mein chakra has eight petals, and contains predominantly orange prana and less of red prana. It also contains smaller amounts of yellow and blue pranas.

WHAT ARE THE PRACTICAL USES OF THE MENG MEN?

A. WORK-LIFE BALANCE
Who hasn’t heard of or craved work-life balance?
Focusing on the center increases our enthusiasm for activities we enjoy, calms us in situations that are necessary but not necessarily enjoyable, and gives us a perspective to choose tasks that are actually important.  The result is a net gain in energy.   Try this:  the next time you are commuting or caught in traffic think about pushing each breath down to your lower back.  You will be refreshed, less stressed, and surprised when your exit comes so soon if you didn’t miss it entirely.

B. CREATIVITY
Creative individuals are balanced.  Any experience that you have had where you are highly creative it is probable that you are outside of your own thoughts and drawing/writing/strumming without relationship to time or place.  The ming-men drains the brain and stops it from running interference.

C. SLEEP
The ming men point is the one-two punch for sleeplessness.   Lay on your back with both palms resting on your navel.  Think about your ming-men.  If a work or stressful thought pops up, drag it down your spine and out the ming men.  Wake up! :-)  I’m almost done.

D.  ENERGY
The first steps in developing this energy consist of focusing one's intention.
Basically, inhale into the belly while holding your abdominal muscles tight.  Force the air into the small of the back and imagine it emitting from a small opening in the spine.

E.  PSYCHOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS
When the meng mein chakra becomes big a person becomes emotionally excited. Cleansing of the meng mein chakra helps a person gradually calm down.

F. PHYSIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS
The meng mein chakra controls and energizes the kidneys and the adrenal glands. It also controls the blood pressure. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Miracles Through Pranic Healing)

The meng mein chakra and sex chakra control and energize the urinary system. It is also closely related to the spleen chakra. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Advanced Pranic Healing)

THE SECRET IS IN NAVEL CHAKRA

THE SECONDARY NAVEL CHAKRA

The secondary navel chakra is located two inches below the navel chakra, it is half the size of the navel chakra. It consists of three minor chakras.
According to GMCKS, this is the place where the golden chee prana is located. Mainly three main nodes Ida, Sushmina & Pingla meet at this point.
I did a research on this and found that in ancient Indian medicine this is the point which is called nabhi, and when it is dislocated it causes a lot of disturbances in the health of the person.
Basically, it is an alignment of the body just like when the wheel alignment of a four wheeler is at the vehicle gets problems in the same way when the secondary navel chakra is dislocated the whole system of the body is affected.
It is said that dislocated nabhi causes about fifty types of problems in the human body. some of them I observed are as follows:
Intestinal bubble syndrome, indigestion, lack of appetite, feeling of the toilet just after meals, loose motion, infertility and many more problems related.

STRESS

STRESS AFFECTS THE BODY!

Stress is recongnised as the first proxy killer  disease today. The American medical has noted
that stress is the basic cause for more than 60%  of all human illness and disease.

Researchers have also discovered that chronic stress can cause the body to release excess
cortisol, a hormone critical in managing fat storage and energy use in the human body.
Cortisol is known to increase appetite and may encourage cravings for sugary or fatty foods.

When we reach for fattening comfort foods
during stressful times, it may be an attempt to
self-medicate. "When you eat carbohydrates, it
raises the body's serotonin level, "Taub-Dix says.
"Serotonin is the body's feel good chemical. It
makes you feel better." Not surprisingly, people
under stress don't tend to make smart food choices.

Also, there is a molecule called neuropeptide Y that
is released from nerve cells during stress and
encourages fat accumulation. Stress affects the
whole body and causes many other problems too
such as insomnia, emotional and behavioural
problems etc.
